It’s like the final stage of Vegeta’s character in Toriyama’s mind. I thought Vegeta’s character was perfectly written for this. He’s not a cold blooded Saiya-jin like he used to be. This is a whole 2 years after his sacrifice against Buu. I realize that Vegeta viciously slaughtered his own partner in the past and even Raditz said that he won’t hesitate to kill his own brother. Yes that would be very out of character for Cell Era Vegeta. Saying it was an honor to meet his brothers wife. In this special we see Vegeta wanting to avenge his brother and fight it like it was a family thing. Vegeta’s by far the most well developed character by Toriyama. This special was at least something fresh.Īnother important point is Vegeta’s character. Pull a miracle at the end Via Transformation, Genki-Dama, or super attack. I’m glad it wasn’t set up like the typical DBZ Movie. And I had to laugh at Kuririn and Yamcha having their Gi’s on underneath their outfits. ![]() Characters throwing out attacks like Yamcha and the Souki-Dan. The character interaction made it for me. Like I said, the fights were a little boring. How many fanfics have you read and seem similar stuff? Like I said, total fan service. I had a total fangasm watching their interaction. It’s what the majority of people seem to want. I thought the comedy in this special was amazing. Almost exiled because of his inability to fight. But Tarble seems to have been sent off basically to die. Didn’t Vegeta say that him and Goku were the only full bloods left? Well that’s true. Nice to meet you.”…The concept of Tarble was abrupt, random, and screams Toriyama. Oh and by the way you’re from an extinct race of space pirates and were sent here to destroy this planet but hit your head and forgot. He loves pulling things out of left field…Anyone recall “And I’m Raditz. Now some people are saying they don’t like the concept of Vegeta having a brother. It’s for people to see the series in a far more comedic light like the way it was before Piccolo Daimao’s arrival. What this special is, is basically fan service. If all your looking for is “ZOMGz HARDCORE ACTION THE R0KZ0RZ BRUCE FAULCONER” this special isn’t for you. First off one of the major points I should…uh…point out is…This special is not for the common fan.
